Well hello there. Thanks for stopping by.
Based in the UK – Manchester, for those of you with an eye for the finer details – I’m a freelance games and technology journalist currently mashing my keyboard in the name of Gamasutra.
I’ve held down staff writer positions at sites such as VGChartz and PocketGamer.biz, and have also freelanced for a number of print and digital publications including the International Business Times, Stuff, and Apps Magazine.
During my time at PocketGamer, I was often whisked around Europe in the name of video games, travelling to the likes of Barcelona, Malmo, Helsinki, London, and Paris to break the latest stories, organise events, and interview leading industry figures.
More recently, I’ve invested my time in a number of personal projects, focusing my efforts on Side One, a website dedicated to video game and movie soundtracks, and Gamerbake, a popular charity event centred around game-themed baked goods. Tasty.
Still, that’s really only the tip of the iceberg, but if you like what you hear don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always looking out for exciting work opportunities, so get in touch using the form below to find out more about my rates and availability.
